The Bristol Wire does not seek to endorse, promote or favour any one view over another.
Our vision is to provide a space for content from across the political spectrum – from parties, candidates, prominent figures in the city and from ordinary voters.
This site depends on the content that is provided to it. However, quality is more important than quantity. We will not post poor quality pieces just to ensure political balance. Nor will we accept articles that make personal attacks on individuals or groups.
Politics is about differences in opinion. It is absolutely right that there should be debate and a lively exchange of viewpoints. Trolling is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. If you really want to do that sort of thing go and spend some time on Twitter.
